You are invited to attend the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Members at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at our headquarters facility at 1732 Finney Road, Murphysboro, Ill. This year’s annual meeting will be held outside, drive-in style. Gates will open for registration and food service to begin at 4:30 p.m. Boxed hot dog dinners & drinks will be provided to all in attendance, and $20 bill credits will be issued to each registered member (credit will be applied to August bills, one per membership).
The business meeting will take place outdoors on-stage, with guests asked to remain in their vehicles. Employees will assist with directing traffic and on-site parking inside of our fenced area. Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be no children’s program this year. Six directors will be up for election this year, three from 2020 and three for 2021. Following the meeting, attendance cash prize and scholarship winners will be announced. Presence for winners who properly registered will not be required this year. Winners will be notified by the following business day, and recipients will also be announced on social media and website. A secondary drawing opportunity will be open for anyone who signs up for Operation Round-Up through August 1, 2021, and all registered Operation Round-Up participants will be entered to win a $100 cash prize.
