Coffee with the Coop

In 2023, Egyptian Electric Cooperative will be hosting a series of “Coffee with the Coops” as an olive branch to our membership to further explain continuing changes outside the yearly annual meeting. Each month we will be visiting a new location across our service territory to offer our membership a free coffee/drink and an opportunity to sit down and chat with us, ask us questions, further explain issues, or to discuss anything else cooperative related. The energy landscape, challenges, and technology continue to rapidly change around us, and we want to keep you informed.

Our pilot location is at I Am Java (715 N 14th Street) in Murphysboro on Friday, February 17 at 8:30 a.m. We are allowing the morning of as long as it takes to get through the questions. They will be informal with no agenda. If you can’t make that one, our following one will be on Monday, March 27 at the Pistol City Restaurant located at 505 E Grant Street in Coulterville beginning at 8:30AM. A following event will be at the Steam Coffee House at 200 S St. Louis Street in Sparta at 8:30AM on Wednesday, April 26 and at Turner’s Table at 901 W Grand Avenue in Carterville at 8:30AM on Friday, May 19. More locations will continue to be scheduled in the coming weeks.
