Egyptian Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for a full-time Engineering Technician I at our Murphysboro headquarters location. A successful candidate will be required to have an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related Technical Degree. Preferred qualifications would include a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree, knowledge of NEC & NESC standards, electric utility experience in staking, GIS mapping, easement writing, and an understanding of power system construction. Applicant must have excellent communications skills, personal computer skills, a working knowledge of electricity and a valid IL driver’s license.
