At Egyptian Electric Cooperative, we’re proud to support members in making energy decisions that meet their needs. Whether you’re charging an electric vehicle or using a generator for backup power, our Electric Vehicle & Generator Rebate Program supports you as you make the choices that are right for your home. By participating in this rebate program, you’re also helping EECA keep track of these technologies on our system so we can continue providing safe, reliable, and affordable power for our consumer-members.
Who's Eligible
This program is available to active residential consumer-members of Egyptian Electric Cooperative Association (EECA). To qualify, a Level 2 electric vehicle charger or generator with a proper transfer switch or interlock kit must be installed at a residential property located within EECA’s service territory.
How It Works
- Confirm qualifying equipment – Either a Level 2 EV charger, or a generator with a proper transfer switch or interlock kit. The equipment may be newly installed or already in place.
- Submit your rebate application – Complete and submit the online form available at the top of this page. (Orange button)
- Verification – EECA will perform an on-site inspection to confirm your equipment meets program requirements and is safely interconnected to EECA’s system.
- Receive your rebate – Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a one-time $100 bill credit per participating service location for each available incentive.
If you have both a qualifying EV charger and generator, please complete a separate rebate application for each.
Important Details
- Equipment must be fully functional and operational, and safely installed to qualify.
- EECA reserves the right to verify installations through onsite inspections before issuing the rebate or through follow-up visits.
- Rebates may be denied if a service location has previously received a rebate under a different name or account.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the specific incentive selected.
