At Egyptian Electric Cooperative, one of the ways we live out our value of “Commitment to Community” is by supporting those who help shape the future – our local educators!
EECA is once again inviting teachers within our service territory to apply for one of ten $500 Touchstone Energy Classroom Empowerment Grants available for the 2026–27 school year. We know that sometimes a little extra funding is all it takes to make a big difference for students.
Educators from eligible K–12 schools, both public and private, are encouraged to apply. Winning projects will be selected based on how well they demonstrate the purpose of the project, the research or data behind it, and how it will improve the educational experience.
How to Apply
To apply, interested educators should:
- Review the official rules and complete the “2026–27 Classroom Grant Application and Info” found at the top of our Classroom Empowerment Grants page.
- Submit the one-page application along with a typewritten request by Friday, November 6, 2026.
Applications may be submitted:
