At the end of July 2017, Vice-President/General Manager Jim Riddle retired from Egyptian Electric Cooperative. Shane Hermetz has been appointed as Interim Manager; previously serving as Assistant Manager. The Board of Directors continues to work toward selecting a new General Manager, and hopes to fill the position in the coming months.

Egyptian Electric Cooperative conducted its 79th Annual Meeting of the Members on the evening of Thursday July 20, 2017 at the Steeleville American Legion. The 2017 Annual Meeting Scholarship Application is now available, and Egyptian Electric Cooperative is now accepting applications!  For the downloadable application and more information on eligibility, please visit our Annual Meeting Scholarship page.  Application are due to the Cooperative by 4:00 p.m. on July 7, 2017

Beginning the first week of April, you are now able to pay your bill at our new, and first, off-site kiosk location located east of Carbondale, at the Marketplace Shell at N. Reed Station Road and Route 13, open 6 a.m. to midnight! For more information visit our Ways to Pay webpage.
