As of December 1, all income-eligible households may apply for energy assistance through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
LIHEAP offers one-time payments to ease the financial strain of electric expenses during the colder months. The amount of assistance depends on household size, income, and energy costs and is applied as a credit to your Egyptian Electric account.
