We are pleased to share with you that the 2022 Thomas H. Moore IEC Memorial Scholarships are now live and available for application! Of the 14 scholarships to be awarded in the state, eight (8) will be awarded to students who are (high school seniors) enrolling full-time at a two-year or a four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school who are the children of an Illinois electric cooperative consumer-member receiving service from the cooperative, four (4) will be reserved for children enrolling full-time at an Illinois community college, one (1) “Earl W. Stuck Memorial Scholarship” enrolling full-time at a two-year or a four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school who is the child of an Illinois electric cooperative employee or director, and one (1) “LaVern and Nola McEntire Memorial Lineworker’s Scholarship.”
All academic scholarship applicants must be high school seniors who are planning to enroll in a full-time (at least 12 hours) undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the United States. The deadline for academic scholarship applications is December 31, 2021, and submissions are online only. The LaVern and Nola McEntire Memorial Lineworker’s Scholarship, online application is due April 30, 2022.
